Handheld Metal Detectors Supply & Training in Kisumu
Effective security screening is an important part of protecting people, property and sensitive facilities.
Triscope Ultimate Solutions Ltd supplies professional handheld metal detectors and walk-through metal detection systems for offices, hotels, hospitals, schools, courts, government facilities, shopping centres, places of worship and event venues across Kisumu.
We provide security screening equipment suited to different environments, from portable handheld metal detectors wands for secondary screening to walk-through metal detection archways for high-footfall entrances.
Handheld metal detectors, commonly known as security wands, provide a portable and flexible method of screening people and identifying metallic objects.
They can be used as a primary screening method at smaller entrances or as a secondary screening tool following an alert from a walk-through metal detector.
TUS supplies handheld detectors suited to different applications, including:
- Offices and corporate buildings
- Shopping centres
- Hotels
- Hospitals
- Schools and universities
- Courts
- Government facilities
- Places of worship
- Construction and industrial sites
- Concerts and events
- Conferences and exhibitions
For high-footfall entrances, a walk-through metal detector can provide faster screening than individual handheld scanning.
A person walks through the detection arch while the system monitors for metallic objects. Depending on the model, visual indicators and audible alarms can help screening personnel identify an alert.
Walk-through systems are suitable for environments such as:
- Shopping centres
- Corporate buildings
- Courts
- Government facilities
- Hotels
- Stadiums
- Conference centres
- Schools and universities
- Hospitals
- Places of worship
- Large events
A metal detector is a screening tool. Effective security depends on the equipment being used correctly and consistently.
TUS provides training for security guards and relevant front-of-house personnel covering:
- Correct handheld scanning technique
- Systematic body coverage
- Safe and professional screening procedures
- Understanding audible and vibration alerts
- Identifying potential sources of false alarms
- Responding to positive detections
- Escalation procedures
- Equipment handling and care
- Basic sensitivity adjustment
- Battery and operational checks
